LESLEY A KALISH MA, ADIP, UKCP
Psychotherapist | Couple Counsellor | Mediator
HOW I WORK
My therapeutic approach is relational and integrative. Integrative psychotherapy is an approach that uses various modalities, designed to meet the needs of each individual. An initial assessment will be carried out, exploring key issues and concerns. This provides me with a sense of the problem, and allows you to ask me any questions that you may have. The nature of our work is such that you will decide what you wish to discuss and set the pace for how you choose to proceed.
HOW AND WHEN
I offer face-to-face, telephone or skype sessions, usually at the same time and day of the week. I also work outside of regular office hours and provide corporate psychotherapy sessions at your place of work.
DURATION AND FEES
Our first consultation will be an assessment session of up to 60 minutes. Thereafter, each session is 50 minutes in duration. We may choose in some circumstances to meet more than once per week. Fees vary depending on location and type of therapy.
Payment is made by cash or internet transfer on the day. Please also see . Concessions are available for those on low income and students.
PRIVATE HEALTH CARE
I have specialist recognition with several private health insurance companies including Bupa, Aviva, Vitality Health, Simply Health, Healix, Cigna, Axa PPP and Allianz Worldwide Care. Please ask me if your private health insurer is not listed here.
CODE OF ETHICS
I work to a high standard of professional excellence, abiding by the UKCP guidelines for ethical principles, as well as the BACP ethical framework for good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I engage in regular professional supervision as part of the UKCP requirements, and attend additional CPD (continued professional development) training courses on an on-going basis.
